What a wonderful story. This very short story by Bradbury has everything. In just so many few paragraphs, a complete face of life, death and the mystery of all of everything. Wrapped so neatly, placed in the reader's hands, there to enjoy. We find George Smith… who finds a great wealth on the sea shore while on a vacation with his wife. With no way to keep it, he is left to only remember it. Is this all a metaphor for the reality of our lives? Beautiful, mysterious, and oh, so transient? What an enchanting interchange of artist and a simple vacationer. Difficult to describe adequately, but to read it yourself and reflect on the outcome. This story sometimes was published as Picasso Summer.
