Here, Bradbury asks a simple question:

What happens if we were able to raise from the dead a great writer, perhaps one we have appreciated thru the generations.

Because we have loved him, let him LIVE!

And in so doing, let us show him “space”, and “rocketships”, and “Mars!”

What then will happen next?

And so, the premise of this popular short story.
